Competition

"To compete or not to compete. That is the question, whether 'tis nobler in the soul to always strive to win or to stand back and allow another to shine." Charles - idea flagrantly stolen from Shakespear.
Webster defines the word "compete" as : "to strive consciously or unconsciously for an objective (as position, profit, or a prize) : be in a state of rivalry." Then the word "competition" is defined as: "the act or process of rivalry."
Notice the word "rivalry." In other words, any time that we are competing, or are in a state of competition, we are looking at all others as our rivals. Certainly in life we must compete to some extent. We compete for housing, food, clothing and some of our desired items. More accurately, we compete for the money that will allow us to purchase the needed things. This is all well and good.
Where the problem comes in is that in our societies, we have been programmed to believe that we must always be in constant competition for all things. We must be in constant competition to have a bigger home, bigger yard, greener lawn, bigger, better car etc. ad infinitum than our neighbors, friends and associates. These material things are won basically by competing for money.
But many also compete for position, power, control and recognition. My first thoughts in this area are those who compete for political office, those who compete for top executive positions in the business world and those who compete for top positions of leadership in their religious or social groups. Those who win in this group usually also win in the first group as money normally goes with these positions.
I have been talking about the obvious. But competition is not limited to these areas only. Look at the amateur athlete who must be a better golf player or better tennis player or better whatever than his friends. Again still fairly obvious. It does not stop there. Observe any gathering of people when they start talking of their accomplishments, their children, their whatever. Each person will tell of something slightly "better" than the previous person. And it will very quickly reach the point where each person is stretching the truth to the breaking point or even telling outright falsehoods, all to "look better" than the others and build up their own self esteem.
I am reminded of an incident that I read of recently. There was going to be a "Special Olympics" type of event. A group of handicapped children were going to run a race. Seconds into the race, one of the children tripped and fell. Another of the children saw it and called everyone else's attention to the fallen runner. They all stopped, went back, helped the fallen child up and then arm in arm continued the race and crossed the finish line at the same time. All wore large smiles. These special children displayed cooperation instead of competition and on that day, they were all shining stars.
Am I in competition? Certainly I am. I am competing with anyone who teaches hatred, bigotry or intolerance. I compete with any who would deny others the right to be the very best that they can be. And I am in competition with any who would preach violence and darkness instead of Love and Light.

The Stones of APRIL
DIAMOND: (Zodiac Correspondence: Cancer, Gemini, Aries, Leo and Taurus). Planetary Correspondence: Sun, Moon, Saturn, Uranus and Mercury. Elemental Correspondence: ALL. Color Correspondence: Depends on Stone. Family: Carbon. Energy: Projective.) The only Stone I know about (so far) that is cross-culturally considered to possess an Identity/Soul in it's own right. The Hindu claim that it's "Light and Purity Solidified". Promotes Strength and Stamina, Fidelity and Trust, Clarity of Vision and Understanding. Repeller/Protector against the "powers of the Dark" from within and without. Anti- Jealousy, Anger, Witchcraft, Demonic Possession, Greed (oh?), Lust. Stimulates the Mind's ability to Remember, Process and Reason both Deductively and Inductively. Open's Crown Chakra to Universal Energy and Truth and cleans All Chakras of blockages and attunes them for Prime activity and response. Said to empower one's Meditative/ Journeying/ Trance capacities And can be transported to other Realms with one as a partner. If worn into Battle boosts Courage, Endurance, and Strength and believed to make one Invincible (Note: Just like your Diamond wearing Opponent?) Draws Good luck/Opportunity to user and provides to Determination and Inspiration to carry through successfully not to mention it's ability (hardness) to aid in cutting through any obstacle. The Diamond can be Everyone's Dream Stone. However, all this applies only IF the Stone is a Gift, or is Purchased, or found in the Wild (not some one else's land). THEN all of the above is Reversed and the Diamond will become your worse Nightmare. (Note: Well, 2nd worse. You know which I'm referring too and I'll say no more.)
OPAL: (in General): (Zodiac Correspondence: Cancer, Libra, Libra, Scorpio. Planetary Correspondence: All. Elemental Correspondence: All. Color(s) Correspondence, depending on variety: White, Black, Oranges, Reds, Yellows, Blues, Greens, and Pinks. Family Correspondence: Silicates. Energy: Projective and Receptive.) Protection during psychic / astral travel and work between worlds. Multicolored hue makes it ideal for ALL types of "color energy" workings within self and projecting it to others. Purifies blood, disperses infections and stimulates circulatory system. Again, with 19 specific varieties listed in just the references I have on hand, I'll just go with a general "garden variety" Opal and suggest that, like with the Agate, the Rules of Connective ness may be applied. So, quoting Scott Cunningham's "Encyclopedia of Crystal, Gem and Metal Magic", "Opal contains the colors as well as the qualities of every other Stone and as such can be "programmed" or "charged" with virtually every type of energy and used in spells involving ALL magical needs". Many "primitive" tribes have used it as a key unlocking Vision Questing and Meditating by bringing mind into focus that which is beyond normal "sight". It is said to bring out hidden beauty and power, to attract Health, Money, Love, and Balance in Life. Used to Disperse/Promote (as treatment) calls for Infections, Eye disorders, Tainted blood and kidney disorders, ease Childbirth and Alleviate Fevers. Note: It is said that wrapping an Opal in a fresh Bay leaf and then carried next to skin will grant the user/carrier Invisibility by blocking others from seeing you. (Much like using a Fire Grizzal to Cloud Men's Minds). Helps one draw Creativity, Spontaneity, Inspiration and Imagination into to user's Life/Mind.
QUARTZ: (Zodiac Correspondence: All. Planetary Correspondence: All. Elemental Correspondence: All. Color Correspondence: Clear. Family: Silicate Dioxide. Energy: Receptive and Projective.) Alrighty; in as much as Quartz (ie- Silicon Dioxide) is the most common "stone" form on the planet (that we know of) and the Foremost Receiver/Transmitter/Amplifier of Energy of all sorts, all I can say is that what you want to achieve can only be helped along by using Quartz. Kind of a "Miracle Grow" of the Rock Kingdom. One of, if not THE, "Swiss Army Rock". I counted, in my books, 67 different recognized Quartz forms (different formations of matrix and combinations with other materials) and didn't bother with the color combinations within some of the categories, however consider these" specialization tools" for very specific workings. In short, go with the Clear and work with the Rule of Connection (All are connected and can be "tapped" by any within the "family") and if You've got a Will, then Rock Crystal will help pave the way by boosting and/or drawing to you the energy you need and sending it forth as a force to be reckoned with
KRYTONITE: (Zodiac Correspondence: Taurus (I presume because the word "Bull" keeps coming to mind)). Planetary Correspondence: Pluto, Mars, Krypton, and Saturn. Elemental Correspondence: Fire. Color(s) Correspondence: see below. Family: Mythelementite. Energy: Projective.
GREEN: De-stimulates (in certain types) All Chakras and thus Whole Body balancing and bringing it into harmony with/to merely Mortal levels. Said to be able to Open the Door and facilitate passage into the "Other side" with repeated/prolonged exposure. Used successfully to treat Vertigo, tendency to Air Sickness, and Fear of Heights, in some, by eliminating ability of "self actualized flight" and leaping over buildings with a single bound.
RED: Works at Sub-Atomic and Genetic levels stimulating shifts in one's Identity Recognition and sometimes Shape. Opens "users" world view/ experience orientation to the concept and actualization of Random Mutation.
GOLD: While not Fatal, Grounds completely, Dis-impowers, and Reorients "exposee" to Mundane Earth levels, boundaries and orientation. Not a $$$ drawing Stone so keep the Day job. Used in Reversal treatments involving Super-Ego and Super-Id conditions.
BLUE: Transformationed Stone. Should be considered a Mirror (i.e.- same abilities/attributes as) to "Green Kryptonite" if one is of a Bizzaro nature.
WHITE: Universal Anti-Foliage/Flora mineral. Can't see the Forest for the Trees? This Stone will eliminate both to leave user with a cleared view of the Big (wasterlandish) Picture. Enhances "Black Thumb" Gardening abilities. Used in the treatment of fungal infections such as Athletes foot and removes effects of Poison Ivy and Sumac.
In general, Kryptonite (all excluding White) promotes an easy and quick method of identifying certain "other worldly" beings and its soft, self-renewing glow makes it an excellent Pathway or in house Night-light.
WHITE SAPPHIRE: See Below under "Sapphire"
GARNET: (Zodiac Correspondence: see below. Planetary Correspondences: Moon, Mars, Mercury, Saturn, and Uranus. Color Correspondence: see below. Elemental Correspondence: All. Family: Silicate (Aluminum). Energy: Receptive and Projective.)
Red/ Common Garnet: (Gemini, Cancer, Aquarius). Enhances Body strength, endurance and vigor. Energy booster and general "Light" shield against all forms of attack by the forces of Darkness. Regulates skin, blood and heart health. And if you give a Garnet to someone leaving, it will insure a safe return into your life.
Pyrope Garnet: (also called "Rhodolite", Dark to Blackish Red, Cancer & Leo). Opens blocked (any) Chakras and stimulates user to recognize/eliminate outmoded, un-needed, harmful (personally) thoughts, habits, and emotions. Said to be a good Blood Clotting stimulant (open wounds, nose bleeds, etc) or to prevent them internally. Anti-inflammation Stone for both Internal and External disorders. Also another of those "Battery" Stones from which one can draw extra energy from.
Grossular Garnet: (also called "Grossularite", comes in Pink, Clear, White, Yellow and Green, Zodiac: Cancer). Sooths, Calms, Grounds bringing awareness to "Spiritual" side of Life and helps user to make recognize, make connection to and implant what's needed at any/all levels towards Balance and Harmony within Self and Universe.
Andradite Garnet: (Wine Red with Greenish Flecks, Zodiac: Aquarius). A Stone that "Unlocks" Secrets and leads user to Lost Treasures, Missing Objects and Answers to Questions. Also said to make "Dishonesty" impossible between People and with Self. (Note: The "PERFECT" gift to End a Relationship with?)
Sessartine Garnet: (also called: "Spessarite". Rusty Red to Mauve, Zodiac: Cancer). Whether it Enhances ones Social abilities, generates direct channeling to "Miss Manners/Emily Post", or Whatever, this Stone is said to inspire Grace, Manners, Charm, Wit, Style, Poise, Tact, Empathy, etc. in user in his/her contacts with others. Also said to initiate "Analytical and Rational" thinking and behavior in user during "Public" contact. (Note: Smile politely and resist the urge to hold up garlic or a cross with some types?)
Uvarovite Garnet: (Emerald Green, Aquarius). Peace and Harmony within, Prosperity and Abundance without. Aids in the recognition of what hinders/blocks one are growth/path, what is lacking in self, and how to bring about correction of these problems and defects. Puts one in touch with the "Universal Mind" and unlocks one's ability to control/re-align one's life. Also said to be good to reverse "frigidity" in one's self and partner.
RUBY: (Zodiac Correspondence: Leo, Scorpio, Cancer, Sagittarius, and Virgo. Planetary Correspondence: Mercury, Jupiter, and Mars. Elemental Correspondence: Air & Fire. Color Correspondence: Wine to Dark (Blood) Red. Family: Corundum. Energy: Projective. Called a/the "Harvest Stone" because (A) it is said to direct and stimulate users into "successful" ventures which will "Reap" financial rewards of one type or another, (B) is strong connection with the Heart/ Blood promotes Love, Fertility, Health and Growth to those who invoke it's powers. Between Partners, promote Fidelity, Stability and Trust. Worn during Pregnancy as a Ward against Miscarriages and "ensure" an easy, safe, uncomplicated childbirth. Worn/Carried into Battle(s) to shield wearer against Wounds, Infections, Pestilence, etc. as well as increase Stamina, Confidence, Strength, & Determination. Historically said to also Ward against Fevers, Chills, the Plague, Smallpox, Lightening Strikes, Fires and Famine. AND strangely (at least to me) in some cultures given to the Dying or Dead to insure a Peaceful Transition into the Other world and promote Resurrection/Reincarnation. SUGILITE: (Also known as "Royal Lavulite" and "Royal Azel") Zodiac Correspondence: Virgo, Sagittarius. Planetary Correspondence: Jupiter, Earth, and Mercury. Color Correspondence: Violet, Pinks, and Purples. Element Correspondence: Water, Earth. Family: Lithium/Silicate. Energy: Receptive. Worn/carried to attract and promote Wisdom and increase one's awareness of Spiritual world and one's Connections to it. Inspires recognition of Beauty and Bright Side of Things. Stimulates Creativity of Thought/Action towards achievement of same in one's Life and Surroundings. General healing of one's mind and body by gently pushing away of thoughts/ actions that could prove self-destructive. Dispels Anger, Jealousy, Prejudice, Abrasiveness and other social no-nos as well as Depression, Fear and Paranoia. Used as general panacea for aches, pains and discomforts in all body areas.
The Stones of ARIES (3/01-3/19)
BLOODSTONE: (Also called "Heliotrope") Zodiac Correspondence: Aries, Pisces, Libra. Planetary Correspondence: Mars. Element Correspondence: Earth, Fire. Color Correspondence: Green, Red. Family: Chalcedony: Energy: Projective. Red and Green Breaker of Ties, remover of Blockages, and Opener of "Doors"(metaphorically-unless you have a REALLY big hunk). Protection, Strength, Healing, Fertility, Love/Sex. Best known, however, for it's legendary ability to stop flowing blood from wounds (apply with pressure to wounded area and soon bleeding stops). Also, used to calm fears, promote courage, protect one in battle, attract wealth, and stimulate plant growth, longevity and good health. Worn to prevent miscarriages and ease childbirth, increase physical strength, AND, if anointed with fresh Heliotrope "sap", will "dazzle the senses" of those around you and thus make you 'unseen" by them. Helps to channel Earth/Life related energies and connections. Stimulates workings of whole body, detoxes and purifies blood, kidneys, bladder and liver. Has been used in the treatment of/for Leukemia, Anemia, and Pneumonia. Interesting Note: As Bloodstone is "tapped" by workings, the red spots/flecks are said to fade as the stone's power weakens. To re-energize, one should bury the stone in the earth for 3 days and 3 nights. (Historical Note: Up until the Late Middle Ages (and possibly later in some instances) Bloodstone was called Hematite (Europe) and Visa Versa (Middle East) so if you happen to run across references to either in Lit. of that period don't make hasty conclusions.)

RED JASPER: (Zodiac Correspondence: Taurus, Leo. Planetary Correspondence: Mars. Elemental Correspondence: Fire. Family Correspondence: Chalcedony Group. Energy: Projective.) Protections against Black Magic and Witchcraft (the bad witch stuff) promote logical thinking and dispel illogical whims. Relives pain during childbirth and protects both Mother and Child from illness as result of birth. Assists in recognition of one's connectedness with all things and helps bring into alignment one's "place" in the scheme of things. Combining the Energy of Fire with Strength of Earth, this Stone has been traditional used from general protection and enerigization down through history. As a Meditation aide brings focus and "enlightenment" into shadowy areas by enhancing Remembrance and Interpretation of Dreams and Symbolic visions especially working on the subconscious to identify/pin point those that are or will be of most importance down the line. ROCK CRYSTAL: In as much as Rock Crystal is just Clear Quartz and I've already talked briefly about that (see above) I'll use the opportunity to say a few words about one specific form. HERKIMER DIAMOND: (Zodiac Correspondence: Pisces, Libra, Sagittarius, Virgo. Planetary Correspondence: Sun and Moon, Mercury. Elemental Correspondence: Water, Fire, and Air. Color: Clear/ Transparent. Family: Silicon Dioxide. Energy: Projective and Receptive. A form of Double Terminated Quartz, which, because of its "Color" and Hardness, can be utilized as a less expensive substitute for a Diamond. (Note: Except possibly in Engagement/Wedding Rings in which case the Discovery of the "substitution" might well lead to.well, you can figure it out.) However, with double "pointy ends" this Stone is both a Transmitter and Receiver of Energy at the same time which can make it a nice tool in the fields of Empathy and Telepathy and any "athy" that requires Bi-location including Meditative/Trance work, Shape Shifting, Spirit Communication and/or Astral Travel. "Healing" wise; well- "Bad" out being replaced with "Good" simultaneously. Like any "Quartz" said to have the capacity for storing Information/Energy for later "Tapping". (Note: Unlike Diamonds, however, Herkimer's have NO Spirit Identity so they will work with you Only in the Physical Reality and do Not carry to other realms.)
The Stones of TAURUS: (3/20- 3/30)
SAPPHIRE: (Zodiac Correspondence: Various. Planetary Correspondence: Sun & Moon. Color Correspondence: Various (Black, White, Purple, Yellow, Clear, and Multi) Family: Corundum. Energy: Receptive & Projective depending on which variety).
Star Sapphire: (Sagittarius, Capricorn) Queen of the Sapphires. In the Hindu cosmology, it was considered the Home of the Ancestors and meditation upon/with it allowed one to see into the Soul of the World and the Realm of the Gods. Symbol/Seat of True Wisdom, Universal Thought & Love, Vigilance, Protection and Spirituality. Protector against Evil Magic and the forces of Darkness. Focus and channel of Devine Energy and Spirit. Used in treatments of Rheumatism, Neurological pain, Epilepsy, Hysteria (and basically All nervous disorders) and general Exorcism of Evil Spirits. (Also, if you hold it against your forehead and concentrate it can stop a nosebleed). In Legal matters, the Stone can draw forth and insure that Justice will prevail; so one had better be sure that they are in the "right" before invoking it's power. Historically seen as a Universal "cure-all" for all manner of Illnesses and problems including Poverty and Unfaithfulness.
Black Sapphire: (Sagittarius). Grounds one and promote the channeling of Earth energy, strengthening one's Resolve, Confidence, Sense of Being, and Purpose. Excellent back up for confrontations of all sorts.
Green Sapphire: (Gemini, Leo) Improves one's ability to notice and note their Environment and Surroundings both on Mundane and Astral planes. Stimulates Mind and Heart to pursue Fidelity, Faithfulness and Loyalty both In and To self.
Indigo Sapphire: (Sagittarius) Centers one on Issues and Insights regarding Responsibilities to Self & Others and helps one determine best methods of carrying through on them successfully.
Parti Sapphire: (Gemini, Sagittarius) Rainbow coloration; Reds, Blues, Greens, Oranges, Browns, Yellows. Said to Act to bring ALL Chakras into alignment, balance and polarity to achieve "Rational Framework of Life". Said to stimulate whole being to feel, think, see in terms of Black-White, Yes-No, Right-Wrong as applies to questions/situations of the "NOW" not the "What if". Sort of a Prompt to "You are here, you want to be there and this is the safest route" sort of thing I think.
Purple Sapphire: (Virgo) Said to stimulate Crown Chakra unblocking/ opening it to allow free flow of Cosmic energy to all other Chakras/parts of body. Empowers Physic Awareness and Ability so that one becomes more aware of Big Picture including one's place in it and one's connections to all parts of it.
Clear/White Sapphire: (Libra) Draws attention (via Crown Chakra and 3rd eye) to Details and Conditions in and surrounding one's life and being. Illuminates both side of issues and enhanced ability to see all side of questions/situations so that one is able to make most informed, beneficial (to user) decisions and plans of action.
Yellow Sapphire: (Leo) If one isn't "into" the purely Moralistic life style this Stone was/is considered to be a Gift from Ganeesh (Hindu God of Wealth and Happiness) to bring Prosperity and Success to Humankind while they were stuck on Earth. Stimulates/Draws Endurance, Fulfillment of Ambitions and Desires, General Success, Wealth and Well Being. Used in the treatment of disorders of the Liver, Gall Bladder, Spleen, & Stomach. (Note: Says nothing regarding the Throat or Vocal chords so let's see: Wine- Covered, Women/Men- Check. Song- ooopps. On our own it looks like.)
TOURQUOISE: (Zodiac Correspondence: Sagittarius, Pisces, Scorpio, Libra. Planetary Correspondence: Venus, Neptune. Color Correspondence: Blue(s)-Blue Green(s). Element Correspondence: Water, Air. Family: Copper (Hydrate). Energy: Receptive). A Stone of Protection; against the Evil Eye, Black Witchcraft, from poisoness Snakes and Spiders, Disease, Violence directed towards you/yours. Traveler's Stone protecting user while traveling on Water, but especially on/by Horse. Has been used to treat Headaches, Eye disorders and Fevers. Traditional (for some) Love Indicator as if Turquoise is exchanged with "lover" as long as the Color remains "true" the Love is strong. If it starts to fade, the Love is on the wane and steps need to be taken to restore both. Also, Native American beliefs, that the Stone (because of it's Sky (Blue) connection probably) if held in running water (or just water applied with intent), can be empowered to bring Rain. Also, if a wet piece of Turquoise is purposefully dried (usually in "fire") will Stop Rain and bring back the Sun. Historically, however, this Stone has a millennium long connection with Human's and Horses. The name comes from the Saxon/French word "Turquoise" which was/is the designation of the country "Turkey" where it was used primarily as a "Horseman's Talisman" to connect them as a "unit" and protect Horse and Rider from Falls, Injury in Battle, over exertion, and illness. This belief dates back to the Assyrian's ("THE" Calvery/Horsepeople) of their time) who believed it to be a gift from the Goddess Asthertet/ Astarte to promote the Horse/ Man understanding/relationship.
AMBER:(Zodiac Correspondence: Leo, Aquarius. Planetary Correspondence: Sun, Mercury. Elemental Correspondence: ALL. Color Correspondence: Varies, but usually a Yellow-Golden Brownish. Family: Fossil. Energy: Receptive and Projective.) Protective by Nature/Origin, this "Stone" works well for Shielding from and/or Trapping Negative energy. Historically, was ground up and the powder either burnt or sprinkled as a "Blessing/Purification" agent. Grounds and Connects user to Earth and Solar energies both Past and Present so may be used as a tool if you are into Past Life Regressions or "Spirit" contact and want to keep one foot firmly planted Here and Now. Medically is has been considered an "all purpose" Healer (Whole, Ground Up, and/or in Elixir form) for correction/ healthy growth in all Chakras/parts of Body. Said to be good for failing Eyesight, Bladder and Stomach disorders in specific
EMERALD: (Zodiac Correspondence: Taurus, Gemini, Aries. Planetary Correspondence: Venus, Jupiter, and Mercury. Elemental Correspondence: Water, Earth, And Air. Color Correspondence: Green - Blue Green. Family Correspondence: Beryl. Energy: Receptive.) Green=Growth=Earth Energy. Stimulates Health of both Mind and Body by stimulating mental focus and capacity and attuning/balancing Body to Universal harmony. Known especially as a "Love" stone for/with user promoting Sensitivity, Loyalty, Harmony and stimulating ability to foresee problems in Relationships before they can occur and prompting correction of same before they "overwhelm and dispel achievement". Said to stimulate and protect all types of Plant growth/health and attune one's mind to eco-system. Has been used to treat disorders of Eyes, Spine, Lungs, Heart, Muscular and Nervous systems. (Worn in a Ring - Index finger, Receptive Hand, said to Ward against all manner of disease/illness while worn close to Throat chakra will help to balance and calm ALL others. Also good reputation as promoting financial success/security.

SPIRITUALITY
I believe that spirituality comes within. It is what you believe it to be. Spirituality is the belief of the divine Universe and a higher power. This higher power may be Mother and Father God, Buddha, Moses, Jesus. There are not any rules in spirituality other than to give and receive love, and to have respect for others.
My own spirituality is the belief in God, Azna (Mother God), Archetypes, Spirit Guides and the Angels above. God is our creator who experiences through us. He is our intellect.
Azna, the Mother God is the keeper of our emotions. She is always surrounding us and helping us through the most emotionally exhilarating experiences and the most emotionally devastating experiences. When you are in grief and suffering call upon her to help ease your pain. She is described as being a very tall 5ft 10in woman. She has olive skin and long, dark brown hair. Azna carries a golden sword that is blessed with healing, balance, and joy. Ask her to intervene and bring her sword upon you when needed.
The Archetypes protect us from dark entities and negative energies. They will immediately surround you. The Archetypes help protect us from psychic attacks. Psychic attacks are negative thoughts from others that are about us. You may feel exhausted, have a headache, depressed or irritated. Try to clear your mind and imagine a chalkboard. Ask the Archetypes who is bringing negative thoughts to you. You should see a name appear on the chalkboard you have created in your mind.
Our Spirit Guides are truly unique. They are individuals that have experienced life on Earth. Before your birth into this life, you and your Spirit Guide made a choice to be together in this life. You already knew your Spirit Guide before you were born! They are with you all the time. When you are in dire straights they petition to Azna for extra help and guidance for you. Spirit Guides do not read your mind. You must call upon them to be there for you. They feel that they are violating you and your privacy if they intervene without being called upon. If you want them to always be there simply tell them, and you will not have to continually ask for them.
The Angels are always around us. We usually have 2-3 Angels assigned to us. You may call upon the Arch Angels for additional healings and release.
When I do readings I am able to connect with at least one of your Angels and your Spirit Guide. Through your Angels and Spirit Guides I receive images or symbols of the messages that need to be delivered to you. Sometimes I am able to pick up a name of a person or a city. It all depends on how open he client is to receiving a reading. If a client is not open to receiving all the messages the communication from the other side to me shuts down. However, if a client is relaxed and open the messages can pour through. As a psychic, the messages don't always make sense to me so I'll ask a question to verify if I am on the right track and you understand. If neither one of us understands I ask that you write it down and save the message for later because eventually it will make sense.
Many people believe that a psychic is "Psychic" all the time. This is not necessarily true. To receive messages I must be clear and free from my own worries and stresses of everyday life. This requires meditation before I am able to give readings. We are all psychic to some degree. It's that little voice inside that gives us a warning when something doesn't feel right or the voice inside that lets us know everything is going to be okay. These are messages from your Angels. However, we tend to ignore these little warnings and then a situation turns into a lesson to be learned. A lesson that we have charted out for our life. It's important to remember that as we go through life's struggles our Angels and Spirit Guides are with us every step of the way. Even when we feel we are so very alone.

The Big Step Forward.
With the news and media dominated lately by visions of war, disease and the general dispair of a world feeling abandoned, my heart has been truly saddened. With each new report of fear, selfishness and despair my heart would sink and I would again find myself looking at the world through tear drenched eyes. Wondering would we ever see the promised Golden Age.
I know many of you can relate to these feelings because I believe the sensitive spiritual heart has been designed to hear and notice at times like these. So if you have been feeling the pain of these times please let me offer you this hope and wisdom, that has helped me to gain some perspective. Remembering always that these are my views as shared with me through mediation and are not intended to be pushed onto anyone. :o)
Its all about evolution. Just like an individual within society, a society itself as it evolves into greater light, must first face its own darkness. Learn to transform that darkness and lay the foundations for the future.
I believe, Learning to face our own darkness is the phase we as a planet and a race are presently going through. At this time many of the Worlds Archetypal energy patterns, are being called into question, Some very clear examples are war, terror, famine and greed. Some of these thought form patterns have been woven into the foundational structures within our societies for centuries. However many people are waking up and seeing they no longer want to run the patterns of the past, they want something more enriching, holistic and universal.
However individually and as a planet, we have not yet developed the new patterns or the tools to achieve what we need. For Example -: A War to Create Peace, this is the old tools being used, to try and gain the new desire. This has caused great disharmony within the very foundations of society. As a result of this many people are horrified and angered as they feel they are not being heard in there time of fear.
Scary as it may be, this is all still part of the evolution into greater light. As more people awaken to the need for peaceful tools to achieve peace. With each new day as more light is anchored upon the earth, by the many awakening and evolving light workers in there many varying states, forms and positions, these old patterns are called into question. As this light touches the dark foundations of societies fears, these dark reminders of our history are presented for examination. Just as when you delete something on your computer, you are asked are you sure you want to permanently delete this.
This is the opportunity we as individuals and as a planet are faced with at this time. Do we delete these archetypes??? As the darkness arises, we each have a choice, do we deal with this in the old way with anger and fear??? Or do we choose to truly heal the past and allow new more humane and loving foundations to be set??? Our individual choices govern our collective choices and they in turn govern the world. The Choices are always ours.
Even if the world seems at times not to have seen the wisdom of the dawn, We as spiritually awakened children have been birthed and awakened to spread more love and light. Flooding creation with the opportunity to awaken to a greater dawn.
Of Coarse people will only see what they are ready to see, and many are still not ready to see what we are here to share. However by being an expression of peace and love, we are privileged to melt away and heal the clouds of ignorance. Through this we also experience the blessing that is each evolving life form. As we know them for who they truly are, so will they come to see themselves. It is at times of crisis that our gifts of love and light are most needed.
Terrie Cole Whittaker a talented new thought minister once used the prase "we are not falling apart we are falling back together again". For as the imprisoning structures of the past break away causing us to feel like we are falling apart, we are truly watching the birth of a liberated tomorrow, fresh and alive with new potential.
As these new thought forms are built, stand the test of time and eventually become earths archetypal energy patterns, humanity itself evolves one step closer to the mastery of light and the wise and loving use of divine energy.
To finish off, I would just like to say that I am personally grateful to every soul and evolving spirit that has sacrificed, to bring us each and every step closer to a truly loving world. Not just the well known Souls such as Jesus, Gandhi and Mother Teresa, but also to all the unspoken souls whose lives and loves have been lost, to inspire transcendence and a world of harmony...

Today, Wednesday, 7 May 2003, at exactly 2.30pm Australian Eastern Standard Time, for just 15 minutes, tens of thousands of people round the world will simultaneously use the power of prayer or meditation to advance the possibilities of peace and non-violence in resolving all conflicts. Everyone is being invited to join them. (Australia is 14 hours ahead of US EST)
The Dalai Lama, 1990 Nobel Peace Laureate, and well known exponent of non-violence, has designated this 15 minute period as particularly suitable for such a worldwide event. His Holiness will lead it from where he is currently teaching a gathering of thousands of Buddhists at Tawang in the remote state of Arunachal Pradesh in north-eastern India.
Peace-lovers elsewhere, wherever they are, will join in, in groups, or privately in their homes, workplaces or hearts. The Dalai Lama's designation of the date and time is in a letter from his Dharamsala (India) office responding to a request some months ago by a Melbourne woman, Mrs Marianne Baillieu. She has circulated news of it among peace groups and Buddhist centers and Tibetan support groups and to others in Australia and on the Internet.
She says this meditation is not just for Tibet, nor is it meant to be partisan or a shot in any political battle. She says it is spiritual, not political. It is about using one's thoughts and emotions generally to influence the energy of the planet in ways that create peace and help prevent further conflicts. She quotes US authority on women's health issues, Dr Christiane Northrup, who wrote recently that "to create peace, you have to be peaceful. The only way to stop war is to start from within yourself. You must do personal disarmament. The only way to get and stay peaceful is to concentrate on what brings you peace and resist the downward spiral of negative emotions that blames others for your lack of peace. Dozens of studies have documented the fact that our thoughts can and do affect others in profound and measurable ways."
Similarly the Dalai Lama has observed to the media recently that everybody, wherever he or she lives, has some potential to create a more peaceful and compassionate world, by creating a more peaceful and compassionate inner world. Marianne Baillieu is a firm believer in the power of large numbers of people doing this simultaneously. She says "There is enormous good energy in the unity of many minds focusing at the same time on the possibility of peace". The more the better. She describes next Wednesday as an opportunity to "hold hands mentally with the Dalai Lama".
So, can this simultaneous 15 minute mental effort next Wednesday by countless thousands, perhaps millions, round the world, led in spirit by the Dalai Lama, make a difference? Will it give the planet a nudge it needs to tip the long term balance of the 21st Century towards peace rather than war? She believes it can and will. "Remember" she says "Grains of sand can start an avalanche".
