All positive paths lead to one end goal. We are all striving for a higher consciousness. Each of us, in our own way, from the day we were born and before, have began this journey, with it's pitfalls, it's obstacles and it's side trips. We who are here, right here and now, depending on what we think or believe are here for reason.
We chose it, we asked for it, and we got it!
Some think, I can't do this, I don't understand that. This isn't working for me, and how do I know?
Sometimes, I truly feel we are so busy saying what we can or can't do, that we are not paying attention to what we do hear, and know. Are we listening to the voices within each of us, that comes from us? I don't think for the most part we do. We are looking and listening for some being to tell us, what we are already aware of. We know these things as we know our children's names and our own. We have convinced ourselves, that we surely can't know. Because we have placed so little faith and trust in our own ability to be and know that we do truly come from a higher source.
Are we too busy asking, that we are forgetting to stop and listen, to ourselves. If we have stopped listening, how can we expect our guides and masters to keep trying to get through to us?
Whose responsibility is it?
Is it theirs or ours?
Are our expectations of what we are expecting reasonable?
Sometimes we are blinded by what we feel that should be happening, we are not paying attention to what is happening. We look for grand displays as we feel that it will come to us in those manners. For the most part, I have found inspiration and insights that come from spirit to be a lot softer, hard to hear, and very plain, almost invisible. We read other peoples experiences and feel that if that isn't happening to us, then there is something wrong. Again that is incorrect. Not all of us will witness the same signs, hear in the same way, and it would be unreasonable to expect it. Most inspiration is born out of perspiration.
An area that I find this most evident is in the area of afterdeath communication. We read stories of ADC's (AfterDeath Communication) and we judge our lack of contact with our loved ones who have crossed over by what others experience. Which is unfair to most of us and to our loved ones. We need to learn to trust our own intuition, and to realize, what we see, hear, and sense is correct. That each of us, does experience things differently and we should not think that if we are not receiving the "signs" like another that we are not receiving 'signs" at all.
We must retrain our minds, remove the boundaries we place on ourselves. and expand to the unlimited heights. We have the ability to grow, develop, as far as we allow ourselves. There is no limit to what one can do, when we remove the boundaries, we place before us.
We are Divine, and when we think of ourselves as such and act in that manner, there is nothing that can keep us tied down. We can reach, touch and live among the stars. The only thing that can stop you, is the slight thought of " I can't," for with that phrase you have limited your true self and those bonds are self made.
It is important to begin each day, and end each day, with an affirmation. Affirmations help you to visualize and encourage yourself. The power of the spoken word is one of the mightiest things you can send out into the universe. It brings positive to you, helps rid the negative influences that surround you, and emotionally and spiritually, can and does rejuvenate the spirit. Affirmations are powerful positive words one can send out and reap bountiful rewards with. You do truly reap what you sow.
An affirmation is a seed, that with constant care will blossom and enrich your entire being more richly than I can possibly say.
Because there is power in the spoken word, it is important to begin each day, with words of encouragement and empowerment for yourself and your world around you.

The Puzzle

We as humans, are each expressing a part of the whole, a piece to the puzzle. The puzzle with all it's pieces is an illusion, a tool that Spirit uses to understand itself. There really is only the whole. Who you think and feel you are - your consciousness, is an aspect of the whole - a little piece to a puzzle whose size is beyond your comprehension. This little piece experiences and perceives only as the piece, never as another piece and never as the whole. You can never be another piece of the puzzle as you exist now - the best you can hope for is to acknowledge yourself and that there are other pieces, and together a whole is created. By embracing the other pieces, you are re-creating the whole. Embracing means to hold onto - to join. This does not mean that you are now what you are embracing, but that together you create a bigger piece to the puzzle. And in embracing more and more, the picture becomes clearer and clearer.
We all feel so insignificant as humans, as a little tiny piece of the puzzle - but without that piece that we are, the puzzle is incomplete. Each piece is an integral part of the whole. Yet the higher truth is that you are really the whole, but only expressing a small part of that now as you know yourself here. So when you come together and share yourselves with each other, remember that each piece is needed and as important as another. Even if that piece seems so different than you - it is a part of the whole. Some pieces seem to contradict each other, yet are part of the whole. Some pieces may appear beautiful and others may appear ugly - yet they are a part of the whole.
We all try so hard to make all the pieces the same here. We feel so insecure being the piece that we are. How dull a puzzle that would be if each piece were identical to the next. It is the variety that makes the whole what it is - that creates the beautiful diversity of this world that we live in and beyond. Please learn to embrace what you believe and what you experience, as well as what others around you believe and experience. Embrace does not mean you change who you are, what you believe - it means you join your beauty with those around you. Do not be afraid to be different than everyone else - you are different from everyone else. Stop trying to all be the same - be unique. Each and every one of you is UNIQUE. Be the piece of the puzzle that you are and allow the other pieces to fall into place as they are, and together you will create a picture more beautiful than can be imagined.

Meditation

Get very relaxed, close your eyes and breath deeply and gently. Do not cross your arms or legs and try to relax your body with your feet flat on the floor. When you feel relaxed, imagine yourself as a piece to a puzzle - think about all your characteristics, all your gifts and things that you like about yourself. Then think about all the things you do not like about yourself and create a piece of a puzzle - like a jigsaw puzzle piece.
Now imagine someone who you love and admire and do the same with them. Think about all the good things that you like about this person and all the things that annoy you about this person, get a complete picture of them in your mind and create another piece of a puzzle representing this person. Allow the two pieces of puzzle to join - they will match up somewhere and fit together. Just allow them too, do not try to force them together - it's as if the pieces are doing it themselves.
Now, imagine someone who you do not like, someone who annoys you and you feel real uncomfortable around -someone you do not like being around. Get a complete picture of this person in your mind, everything about them that you do not like and everything about them that is an asset, that is a good thing about that person. If you cannot find anything good about this person, just allow that there is something there that you cannot see and add that to the puzzle piece that you create. Take this piece of the puzzle now and let it join your piece as you did with the person you admire and love. Just allow it to join, do not try to see where it might fit - just allow it.
Now look at these three pieces of puzzle and see the new picture that is created. What do you see as the picture on these three pieces - as the whole picture. Maybe a color, or a scene, or a feeling - it can be anything. Now, take the advantage of outer space, looking down on the planet earth - but the earth is not in front of you yet - just a space where it will go. Now imagine billions of little pieces of jigsaw puzzle floating in front of you - representing everyone on the earth, every animal, insect, vegetation, rocks, water - everything! Now allow all these pieces to come together to form a globe of the earth - just allow the pieces to find their own place without you placing them anywhere - each piece intuitively knows where it belongs. Watch the earth being formed in front of your eyes. When the picture is complete, look at it closely - what do you see. What picture forms before your eyes, what color, what feeling - any of these things. This is your world.
Now find your tiny little piece in this picture and know that you fit in with all the other pieces - just as all the other little pieces fit in with you. Let yourself release any worry of where you belong and accept that all pieces fit into this world and make it what it is.

"A WING AND A PRAYER."

I want to begin this story by expressing that I don't know if I am necessarily wise, actually, it seems that I learn some things in life really slowly. I am writing this story because I am learning something very, very, important, called, "Following my own heart," and I wanted to share this experience with as many people as I can who need to learn to believe in themselves more.
(Just a Little History First)
I didn't come from a religious family. We didn't pray at the dinner table at night or go to church on Sundays, but very young, I had the desire to attend church. There was a church right up the road from my house, so one Sunday, I threw on a dress and walked up the road and attended my first service. I think I was about 12 years old at the time. Well, I sat down in the front row and listened to every word the preacher spoke. He yelled, and banged his fists on the table.
Actually, he made me laugh. I can remember this lady coming up to me and asking me if I would like to go into the Sunday school service with the other Children, and I said, oh no, thank you, but, I want to listen to the preacher. I certainly didn't understand everything he was saying, but the belief and passion he showed about believing in God, well, that was my first experience with any kind of religion, and 2 years later I joined the Billy Graham movement and taught other teenagers about the bible. It was really fun because we would travel in this bus to other cities to meet with the kids. So, I learned really young, what it felt like to work for a cause that seemed so much bigger than myself.
(On experiencing being Gifted).
I have been connected to gifts of the spirit since the age of 5. I didn't know that then, but around 17, I began to put some of those pieces of the puzzle together. These gifts certainly didn't make life easier for me, as a matter of fact, I found them scary, confusing, and, altogether weird at times. I would see people who appeared to be from another dimension, I would hear things that were not suppose to be happening, and I would pick-up other people's feelings. Most of the time then, I thought they we mine. It took several years before I began to get that I was well, different. There was even a few times in my twenties that I felt like I needed to see a doctor for my mind. If it would not of been for my grandmother, telling me about spiritual gifts, and the fact that ghosts were real, and that there was another life of the spirit I would not have been able to believe and have faith.
Ok, so lets get to why I am sharing this story with you my readers. Whom also have your gifts of the spirit. If you have read this far, there is no accident you are hearing these words. You most likely need some validation that the spirit world is real. And operating inside of you, and outside of you. You perhaps are afraid of these gifts, or, you don't trust in yourself to use them, or experiment with them. Maybe you are afraid people won't accept you, or will make fun of you, or think you are just nuts. Maybe you even think you are nuts at times huh? Well, you are not. And I am writing this to help you believe in yourself and follow your own heart. To this day I have people in my life that don't believe in spirit, mainly, because they haven't any experiences to draw from. And the reason they don't, is because they are closed to it, and they don't believe enough to open the door. Children are more aware of their gifts of the spirit, they see through the veil of illusion that many adults get caught up in. It even states in the Bible that we have to have the hearts of children again to partake in spirit. An Open Heart.
Now, here is where the Wing and the Prayer stuff comes in concerning learning to believe enough to walk your talk, and have the faith to speak your truths. With any of our spiritual gifts there is no roadmap or firm directions.and no one outcome is the same. Everybody holds their own knowledge of spirit within their own hearts. It can be very difficult to believe something without proof huh? Well, if it is proof we need spirit can and will give it to us. All we have to do is ask, and then listen like crazy. And of course, be aware of everything. We may not receive our answers in the ways we expect.
Spirit likes to keep us on our toes! That's why we don't always get the directions, and knowledge, or experiences all at once. It would be too much. We would get over-whelmed, confused, and doubtful. We get what we need, when we are ready for it, and in some cases way before we are ready. There is nothing to fear with our spiritual gifts, and as we have the courage to express them, and talk about them, and share them, they grow and grow!!!
The ways of spirit, are the ways of flying by the seat of our pants. If we become too sure of something as humans, we tend to take it for-granted, or get careless with it, or fear it will go away. So in walking your talk, and believing in your part of communicating with and for spirit, just trust. Sounds easy huh? It isn't human to make it easy. It is Angelic to believe it is easy. So, in the spirit of following your own heart, remember this is your key to belief. Just Be it, Believe it, Do it, and Stand In Your Own Light! And if, and when you do need your proof, just ask for it. Spirit will bring it forth. It might not happen in the way you expect, so keep all of your doors open, and be willing to accept whatever comes forth as your answer.

DESTINY

Order and structure in nature is something we find perfectly logical, and soit is. There is a reason behind every move and form of existence in every dimension. When it comes to human existence however, there are people who believe that babies are chaotically thrown here and there all over the planet by mere coincidence. "I did not ask for this existence" they will say; "blame my parents, they are the ones who conceived me in a temporary lapse of reason. I can't help walking around on this stupid globe!"
Actually I believe we can. There is also a reason for each life we humans live. As God-force manifested we wish to receive circumstances under which we can have and evaluate our experiences, and we each have something unique to add to the evolution. I can think of many life-circumstances I would not consciously choose. Yet I have read writings about souls enthusiastically waiting to be born again, excited about the set of circumstances they have chosen for that new life. And these could include challenges like being born physically or mentally crippled. Not that I can prove this, but I can accept that souls sometimes choose extremes for their experiences. I do know of handicapped people who are grateful for being such, since it gave them the fighting spirit to put their handicap to use. For instance a man with spina bifida, who has become a lawyer especially for crippled people.
We can speak of a general and a personal destiny.
The general destination of this planet is to understand that we are love. Another way of phrasing is learning to overcome victimization, or the idea that someone or something rules you. We are here to learn self-mastery which can only be reached when we take back our human dignity. We then become really free. We can say this is a tough task. There are zillions of variations on the theme of someone / something having power over us. I've understood that human existence on Earth started as a big experiment. If God/Goddess believes we have a chance to succeed, I think we can do it. Looking at horoscopes one can see that people with difficult lives are given extra-ordinary strengths or qualities.
Our personal destiny is our life's purpose. The special gift of what we come here for is what we name 'calling' or 'destiny'. Usually our life experiences form the background and shape the circumstances in which we come to understand our destiny. A conscious 'no longer this' to unwanted situations may put us on the road to our destiny. Often the lows in our life bring the greatest insights and they provide the motivation to get out of the dirt.
A grave disease, serious set-back or a depression may be a stepping-stone to enlightenment; as such they may serve as an initiation. Personal qualities, abilities and interests may indicate our special purpose. What do we really love to do? Where lies our heart? Such questions show the way and it is of utmost importance to find the answers to become happy and dedicated humans. Some people receive a spiritual calling. An alignment of their soul, oversoul and God-mind points them the destined way. It takes inner communication and contemplation to find one's destiny. Therefore making time and silence for yourself is very important.
People who have found their calling are passionate. Their work has become their hobby. They would not want to do anything else. They will probably work extra hours and yet experience a profound sense of inner peace and contentment. When I have given a reiki mastery attunement, I sometimes see a large open thousand-petaled lotus flower around the new master, or a huge Buddha, a golden pyramid, or a white dove descending. Or I hear angels laughing or singing. These are all signs that the new master has made a major step into the direction of his/her destination. Therewith not only giving a divine gift to him/herself, but also to the planet as a whole. Because, once you have found your destiny, you will grow above yourself.

SILVER WOLF 14

As she sat she felt her bones ache, to many years she told herself. Gently she put the bottle on the table. That woman's baby was late, this would help her to give birth.
From the corner of her eye she saw the wolf. Him again she told herself, she remembered as a child seeing the wolf for the first time while out with her mother gathering herbs, and plants. But her mother had never seen the wolf, or anyone else over the years, and even she always saw it from the corner of her eye, when she turned and looked at the spot, he was not there, but she understood the old way, she knew who the wolf was.
Turning her head she looked at the spot where she had seen the wolf, and watched him walk towards her, this time he did not disappear when she looked.
Sitting back she waited as he walked like a whisper towards her, until he sat at her feet, but as he sat the air around him seemed to simmer, and what was once a wolf became a brave with silver hair.
Looking into his eyes she said to him.
If the stories my mother told me are true, then you are here because I have died?
Yes he whispered, your time has passed, and it has just begun.
Raising he held out his hand. Come he told her.
But she turned and looked at the bottle for the mother to be.
As if to read her mind he told her.
The child does not need help to be born, it is waiting for you.
His hand touched hers, and she found herself holding his hand by the bank of a river with grass so green, she could feel the peace all around her. Smiling he told her No, you cannot stay, it is not your time.
I brought you here to meet some fiends of yours.
Slowly a mist came out of the ground, until they stood surrounded by mist.
Out of the mist stepped a brave, she felt the power of his medicine, never felt anyone as strong as him. Behind him limped a young brave, his leg and body bent. He looked so ill she wanted to throw her arms round him and hold him.
Behind him stepped a female of such beauty, she had never seen anyone who looked as she did, her hair so black it sparked with the light, and her eyes. You could swim in her eyes and the body that went with all of that.
The last to walk out the mist was a? shall we say plain female, who looked even plainer next to the other female.
The silver hair brave turned and asked her if she knew these people?
No she said, but as she said no, she felt that somehow that answer was wrong, she felt as if she did know them, but she knew at the same time that she had not met them.
Puzzled she looked at the silver hair brave for an answer.
All of these where you he told her, these are you past lives.
Mine? But why? when?
The silver brave touched the first brave.
This was your first life, you were a warrior, even today some people only whisper your name, even the land trembled as you passed.
Next he touched the bent brave. This was your next life.
You had been so strong, you had no understanding of what it meant to be weak. In this life you learnt your body could not do all the things your mind wanted it to do.
He then touched the hair of the female.
In this life you judged everything by how it looked, your husband was weak in mind, but he looked good.
Just one look from you and a brave would do anything just to hold you, but you never looked beyond the outside of a person, you never saw what was inside someone.
Touching the other female he said.
In this life you understood how to look into the spirit of things, because people judged you by how you looked, never by what was within you. But this made you wise, your words are still repeated today, even you have spoken your own words.
And this life she asked.
This life you learnt how to use the land to heal people, you understand the spirit within the people and the land.
But why she asked, why did I live all those lives when I cannot remember them or the lessons learnt?
You had to live those lives and learn the lessons you learnt, for this moment, now is your time.
Why now she asked.
She felt the sadness in his words as he looked deep into her eyes.
Your people have lost the old ways, they have lost the touch of spirit, and we grow weak, as the river flows, so must the spirit in all things. You will return the spirit to your people and the land.
But how, she asked?
You will be born again among your people, and as you grow, you will remember the lessons learnt, and you will teach, maybe only to a few, but those will teach others, and once more the spirit will flow as the river.
That night a child was born, after waiting for so long it seemed to come out in a rush, now a mother held her baby to her breast, and somewhere in the night, a female turned to another and said. Did you see her eyes? She has wise eyes that one.
And somewhere the sound of a wolf was heard on the wind.
