First of all, simply learning or reading about a religion or spiritual path does not require conversion. So, read all you can regarding your interests. Take what feels right to you and leave the rest alone.
While ansering this question, I'll share some of my own journey with you. Being strongly drawn to Wicca in my early teens, I researched it for a few years and knew that something along this line was right for me when I just felt peace when I thought about it. I dispelled any religious issues I may have had before I devoted myself to the my evolved beliefs. As you're learning about different paths, the more you read, the more you will know whether or not the path you are researching is right for you. If you feel ill-at-ease with any path, then it's not for you, or you may have to leave it alone for a while and come back when you've resolved any issues that may be lying within you. I learned about Wicca a few years before I started practicing the way others do, because I had issues that needed resolving. I just didn't feel comfortable with everything, including my own spirituality. You don't have to belong to a specific religious affiliation or group to be spiritual and at one with the God/s or Goddess/es of your choice, or the universal energy that is Diety. Some people just want to be a part of something when the think upon spirtuality, and therefore seek structure traditions. I started out with my research on Wicca, but then I found myself changing again! Today I define myself as a student and practitioner of several faiths and practices. I believe that there is no one true RIGHT religion and that as long as one feels the truth in his or her heart, and this helps the person live life in a constructive way and with love, then it's right for him or her, and that's all that matters.
No matter the path you choose, you will find there are a bazillion different branches in that path. Don't let anyone convince you that you must follow the path they follow. Do what feels right to you. You will know when you're ready. Many people of all different religions have described a "welcoming" when they have found the path for them. That is, while reading about or learning about a specific religion or path, they may have felt overwhelming unconditional love, had a dream about the religion or path where someone welcomes or teaches them, or hears a voice in their subconscious. Some never have a welcoming. A welcoming isn't a pre-requisite to following any path, so just do what's right for you!
My advice to you is this: Read all you can. Talk to a wide variety of people. Keep what feels right to you and toss the rest. If you don't fit into any "structured" spirituality, so be it! Also, as you grow as a human being, you may follow a path for awhile, then feel like, while you've learned a lot, you need more now. That's fine too, as you evolve, I recommend that you not let any tradition limit your spirituality. But always during your trek, ask yourself the following questions. Keep a journol and re-ask from time to time, perhaps every month.
1) Why am I feeling the need to leave the religion I'm currently a member of?
2) What is attracting me to the religion that I'm learning about now?
3) What are my fears about my spirituality?
4) What makes me feel uneasy about my spirituality?
5) What do I want out of or feel that I need from my spirituality?
